Where has HOMEOPROPHYLAXIS been done?

Numerous trials of HP have taken place over the last 200 years worldwide.

Effectiveness has been recorded for Polio, Japanese encephalitis, Cholera, Chikungunya, Dengue fever, Diphtheria, Malaria, Pertussis, Small pox, and more.

It is utilized in many countries around the world safely.

There have never been any deaths, injuries or permanent damages caused by homeoprophylaxis.

Below are some of the summaries of clinical studies conducted with childhood diseases, Meningitis and Leptospirosis.

Dr Isaac Golden of Australia conducted a 15-year clinical study and ongoing trials using HP for childhood diseases. The results of this study, including the safety and efficacy of HP, are published in Dr. Golden’s recent publication Homeoprophylaxis - A Fifteen Year Clinical Study. His findings included a 90% effectiveness rate for preventing pertussis in those children exposed. Additionally, he found that long term health outcomes were improved for those participating in the HP program. They had fewer ear infections, colds, sore throats and asthma.

In 1974 there was an epidemic of meningitis in Brazil. Dr. Francisco Eizayaga gave 18,640 children the HP remedy called meningococcinum. Only four cases of meningitis occurred. In the untreated group of 6,340 there were thirty-two cases contracted. This was repeated in 1988 with individuals between the ages of 0-20 years old. In the HP treated group of 65,826, only one case of meningitis was reported in the six months following. Of the 25,532 untreated individuals, seven cases were reported. Twelve months later, follow-up reported three cases in the protected group and thirteen cases in the unprotected group. This reflects eighteen times the disease attack rate in the untreated group. Statistical analysis demonstrated homeoprophylaxis displayed 95% protection from contracting meningitis in children under six months old and 91% protection in children over 12 months old. There were no deaths, no adverse effects, and no side effects from the use of homeoprophylaxis.

Dr Gustavo Bracho, an immunologist with the Carlos J. Finlay Institute, a world-renowned center for vaccine research and production in Havana, Cuba used HP for 2.3 million people in 2007 and 2008. Dr. Bracho is Advisor to the President and General Director of Finlay Institute, and head of the Homeopathy and Biotherapic Projects at the Institute. He is an experienced researcher in molecular and cellular biology, and has headed the Adjuvant Group within the Immunology Department of Finlay. The PubMed study states: CONCLUSIONS: The homeoprophylactic approach was associated with a large reduction of disease incidence and control of the epidemic. The results suggest the use of HP as a feasible tool for epidemic control, further research is warranted. *(See reference)

Homeoprophylaxis Program Fact Sheet

PURPOSE
Homeoprophylaxis provides a safe alternative to educating the immune system.

This program is designed to address a healthy, developing immune system. If your child has a chronic condition you may be advised to first correct this before starting HP.

DURATION
The basic HP program lasts from 18-31 months. After that time you may administer “booster” doses at intervals of five to ten years if desired.

PROCEDURE
This program is designed to be self-administered. You will receive an instructional consult to learn more. Immunological expression may be seen in the 24 hours after administration of an HP dose. Any response indicates that the immune system is responding in an appropriate way. Common symptoms may include mild brief fever, fussiness, sleepiness, or increased discharges: nasal, stool, sweat. If symptoms do not resolve in the first 24 hours, contact your practitioner who will help determine what is happening.

RISKS
No form of immunization is 100% effective. Studies conducted by Dr Isaac Golden since 1985 showed 90.4% effectiveness in the HP cohort exposed to the disease. No deaths or injuries have ever occurred with HP.

BENEFITS
The findings of Dr. Golden’s study revealed that children undergoing homeoprophylaxis had fewer chronic illnesses and improved long term health outcomes compared to either vaccinated or non-vaccinated children. It was also observed that the use of homeoprophylaxis did not result in increased allergic, atopic or neurological symptoms as is commonly observed with vaccinated children.

ALTERNATIVE TREATMENTS
At any time, your child may be treated with standard or alternative therapies of your choice. At any time you may choose to conventionally vaccinate your child or stop using HP. This program does not satisfy state vaccine requirements for school aged children. It is your responsibility to follow the procedures for exemption in your state.
