Time...if only we could add a few hours to each day. The truth is, you do have time to get healthy. It doesn’t take much to transition to a healthier lifestyle. I have been learning about how genetics pre-dispose us to certain illnesses and disease but that doesn’t mean we have to actually get them. The environment and toxins have a lot to do with what happens to our cells, as well as our genetics, but there is a third component: lifestyle. The choices we make on a daily basis, whether it’s to eat processed foods, drink alcohol or eat refined carbohydrates, use our cell phones and other electronics excessively, or exercise has everything to do with how good we feel. Do you know what it feels like to FEEL GOOD? Many people really don’t. They TOLERATE their health instead of trying to improve their health. This can lead to stress and eventually to cell damage and finally to illness and disease. Why not make some better choices for the next 30 days? Try eliminating gluten (don’t be tempted to replace it with gluten free products that are both expensive and still a problem) and all refined sugar.
